Beach Palace Gardens

This private garden by the sea in Qatar is a retreat from the world. It is a cool place after the heat of the day with bubbling waters, night time scents, a rustle of the trees, and a place of total relaxation. It is the domestic version of paradise.

Palm trees envelop the garden and give enclosure, canopies provide shaded places to sit and cotemplate and motifs in the sandstone pillars and pools enhance the arabic flavour. Other garden adornments include salt tolerant planting, lighting, sculpture, fountains, pots and irrigation. The more formal layout of the front garden at the entrance becomes more informal and natural as the building faces the seaward side.
