Masterplanning, Zhejiang province

CGLA were engaged to develop masterplans for two developments in Zhejiang Province, China; Linan Mountain resort and Anji Village.

Set amongst the mountainous region of the Zhejiang province, China, Linan Mountain resort involved a comprehensive master plan for a 200ha site incorporating a commercial centre for hotels, shops and public facilities, a marina and a town centre within the valley floors. Villas and apartments were sited on the hillsides, and the existing tea plantations were retained on the ridges and upper slopes.

Anji Village included the design for “Paradise Park”. The multi-use development comprised a 37km2 park including farming, forestry, recreation, housing, tourist resort, town centre and a temple.
