Mark Huxtable
Director, BA(Hons), MLAD, NZILA (Registered)
Mark is a Director and NZILA Registered Landscape Architect with extensive experience leading masterplanning, public realm, recreation, education and community projects across New Zealand, the UK and the Middle East. His work spans major civic and recreational destinations, landscape-led masterplans and subdivisions, from early strategy and concept design through to detailed design and delivery. Mark brings strong design judgement, creative leadership and practical construction knowledge, together with a clear focus on context, identity and sense of place. He works closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams and cultural representatives to embed local history, values and aspirations within the landscape and deliver thoughtful, well-resolved outcomes.

Naomi Crawford
Director, BLA(Hons), NZILA (Registered)
Naomi is an Accredited Environment Commissioner and Registered Landscape Architect with extensive experience in landscape planning, assessment and design across Aotearoa New Zealand. She specialises in landscape and visual assessments, technical reviews and expert evidence for complex multidisciplinary projects, and has worked for both applicants and councils at Environment Court, council, Board of Inquiry and Notice of Requirement hearings. As a director, business owner and board chair, Naomi brings an evidence-led, balanced and practical approach, supported by strong technical leadership, governance and client relationship skills. Alongside her professional practice, she teaches in the Landscape Architecture programme at Lincoln University.

Chris Glasson
Senior Consultant Landscape Architect, BA, Dip LA, FNZILA
With over 35 years in practice, Chris's work has spanned landscape architecture, landscape planning, assessment, and masterplanning. A founding member of the practice and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects, he has worked on a wide range of projects in New Zealand and internationally. He has particular strength in landscape planning and land use matters, alongside broad experience across the wider discipline. Chris has also contributed widely to the profession through past NZILA leadership roles and invitations to speak at IFLA congresses.

Phil Millar
Senior Landscape Architect, BLA (Hons), NZILA (Registered)
Phil has extensive experience leading large-scale civic, public realm, parks, and residential development projects. Having worked across both local government and private practice, he brings a rare combination of strategic insight, design leadership, and delivery expertise. Phil has played key roles in significant town centre, recreation, and masterplanning projects, with strengths in streetscape design, public open space planning, urban structure, and subdivision development within broader growth and infrastructure frameworks. His practical, well-rounded experience enables him to guide complex projects from early planning through to successful delivery

Erina Metcalf
Landscape Architect, BLA(Hons)
Erina's experience spans landscape planning and design, with strong capability in landscape and visual assessment, including peer reviews and preparation of evidence. Her design work ranges from concepts through to detailed design, and contract management. She is passionate about delivering place-responsive landscapes that endure. Erina is a former Planner who brings a strong grounding in spatial planning and assessment, and the built environment, applying this through a site responsive lens that balances creativity with practical outcomes. Erina is currently undertaking her NZILA registration.

Carl Gildea
Landscape Architect, BLA(Hons)
Carl brings broad experience across landscape design, project delivery, and construction, with a practical understanding of how landscapes move from concept through to delivery. He has worked across a wide range of project types and settings, bringing a well-rounded perspective to design and implementation. His background in landscape contracting strengthens his understanding of materials, detailing, and buildability, while supporting a thoughtful and realistic approach to design. Carl brings a grounded perspective to projects and helps shape landscape outcomes that are practical, carefully considered, and responsive to the needs of each site.

Ekai Chiu
Landscape Architect, BLA
Ekai brings a strong combination of design thinking, technical capability, and visual communication to the studio. He has contributed to a range of projects across New Zealand, including commercial and residential landscapes, public realm projects, masterplanning, and 3D visualisation, with experience gained in both private practice and local government. His background in landscape architecture and architecture supports a well-rounded approach to design development and documentation. Ekai is currently completing his Master of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University and has a particular interest in emerging digital tools.

Ameena Hamza
Architectural and Landscape Designer, B.Arch
Ameena has over six years of experience in architectural and landscape design, with project work ranging from masterplanning and concept design through to detailed design. She has worked on projects in New Zealand, the Middle East, and India, and brings a thoughtful, creative approach to her work. Ameena has a strong visual eye and enjoys shaping ideas into well-resolved design outcomes. Outside the studio, she creates graphic art inspired by New Zealand landscapes, reflecting her interest in place, identity, and visual storytelling.
